Bülent Kılıç

  • Prof.

Dr. Bülent Kılıç graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine-Ankara-Turkey in 1988. He is public health specialist (graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine-Ankara-Turkey). He has worked as an academic staff at Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health (Izmir-Turkey) since 1998. His lectures about health management, health policy, health systems, health organization and medical sociology for PhD, MPH (Master of Public Health) students and residents in the department of public health. He attended workshops and courses in qualitative research techniques (Aleppo-2009, İstanbul-2010 and New Castle 2010) and conducted many qualitative research. He attended medical anthropology course in İzmir (2013). He has worked in the Department of Sociology at the University of Alaska Anchorage (USA) as visiting professor in 2014. He also graduated from Anadolu University Department of Sociology in 2019 and has a bachelor's degree in sociology. He is particularly interested in social determinants of health, health policy, health management, health systems and qualitative research techniques.

Derya Çamur

She completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and her medical specialty in Public Health at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. She also completed her master's degree in Environmental Medicine at Hacettepe University. She worked in the Ministry of Health for about 10 years, mostly related to environmental health services. She has worked as a manager and researcher in many projects in the field of public health. She is currently an associate professor at the Health Sciences University, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. Her main area of interest is environmental health issues.

Mine Yenice

Dr. Yenice graduated from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She did her compulsory service at Sivas SSK Hospital. Then she worked as a general practitioner at Kocaeli SSK Hospital. She completed his public health specialization training in Inonu University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health in 2003. Then she worked at Malatya Health Directorate Mother and Child Health Center and Public Health Laboratory, and served as MCHFP Branch Manager. Since 2007, he has worked at the Ankara Health Directorate, Department of Communicable Diseases. In 2011, she was transferred to the Epidemiology Unit of the Refik Saydam Hygiene Center, Epidemiology Unit of the Epidemic Diseases Research Directorate, and worked there until the establishment of the Public Health Institution of Turkey. She worked as a unit manager in the Department of Early Warning Response and Field Epidemiology at the Public Health Institution of Turkey and the General Directorate of Public Health (Health Threats). Since 2020, she has been working as the Head of the Epidemiological Evaluation and Statistics Unit at the Department of Tuberculosis.

She served on the HASUDER Board of Directors between 2008-2014, as the Secretary General between 2008-2010 and 2010-2012.

Beyhan Cengiz Özyurt

Dr. Beyhan Ozyurt graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She  is public health specialist, (graduated from Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 2004). She has worked as an academic staff at Manisa Celal Bayar University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health  since 2004.

She is particularly interested in school health, elderly health, addiction and reproductive health.

Zehra Kılınç

In 2005, she graduated from Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. In 2016, she completed her specialty training at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. After completing her first compulsory service in the day hospital of a district between 2006-2007, she worked as a general practitioner in a health center in the city center for two more years. she completed his compulsory service as a specialist at Diyarbakır Provincial Health Directorate. Between 2016-2019, while working at the Provincial Directorate of Health, she worked as an educator and researcher in the projects of the Governorship of Diyarbakır and various non-governmental organizations. She worked as a unit manager in the Child, Adolescent, Women and Reproductive Health Unit. She graduated from Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Disaster and Emergency Management Department as a second university. Since 2019, she has been working as a doctoral faculty member at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health and has also been working as a workplace physician at Dicle University. Her research interests include maternal and child health, reproductive health and migration.

Bengü Nehir Buğdaycı Yalçın

Specialist Dr., born in 1992, graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2016. She served as the Head of Niğde Çiftlik District Health Directorate and Community Health Center between 2016-2017. Between September 2017 and January 2018, Research Assistant at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health, between January 2018 and November 2021, Research Assistant at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health. Dr. She served as. Then, she has been working at Adıyaman Besni District Health Directorate since November 2021 for the Public Health Specialist State Service Obligation. She has been serving as the District Health Director since January 2023.

Öykü Turunç

Öykü Turunç obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Dokuz Eylül University in the year 2015. Subsequently, in 2020, she successfully completed her International Master of Public Health (IMPH) at The Joseph H. And Belle R. Braun Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Public Health and Community Medicine. Her exemplary performance in the master's program earned her The Jeremy D. Kark Legacy Prize for Academic Excellence, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements. Following her postgraduate studies, in 2022, Turunç graduated from the Public Health Department of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. She is presently appointed as the Head of the Control of Communicable Diseases Unit at the Mardin Provincial Health Directorate.
